Who needs Anthony Bourdain on TV when you can have ROLANDO BERAMENDI LIVE!

Day one in Palermo, Sicily was a warm up for what was in store for the rest of the week's agenda, which was walk, cook, eat, and drink as much as you can in one day, only to repeat the following day. Trying foods that you never would have eaten if you actually knew what they were. Thankfully sometimes not paying attention comes in handy, i.e. eating a spleen sandwich.  Learning from Sicilians, also as told by Tancredi, a character from The Leopard, ("everything needs to change, so everything can stay the same").  And this was just day one.
