The Bird

I know this time of the year everyone is thinking healthy, but it is winter and comfort foods sure do hit the spot. So reading the WSJ last Saturday, I saw the recipe for SPICY FRIED CHICKEN with HONEY and PICKLES.  For some reason I have never really mastered fried chicken and decided to give it a try one more time.  I must say the chicken was good, with the right amount of kick and not too difficult.  I do think the trick to fried foods is that the oil has to be the right temperature and cook just a little bit at a time.  Not to name names but someone in the house did have the bird for breakfast the next morning so must be a Yes Vote to make again.  Not so good photos.  I was focusing on cooking.
