Cymbidium Orchids are another favorite of mine. I used to buy one of these every year during the winter and then after the blooms died out I would stick outside. Lucky for me they love their spot and I get new blooms every winter now.

My Favorite Plants
I wasn't ready to spend the big bucks so I got a baby Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree. I get to watch it grow leaf by leaf into hopefully one of these babes. So far it seems to like the spot I picked out. If you want to read more about it's likes and dislikes check out Gardenista.
