Life's Little Surprises

Sometimes it can be the smallest little thing that can bring joy into your life, especially when not expected. I bought this plant a few years ago for it's unusual leaves and that the the odds were pretty good it could still live with neglect. So what a pleasant surprise, when out of nowhere, this unusual flower that looks like it's made of plastic appeared.  Then if that wasn't enough, the plastic looking flower actually burst into little star like blooms. I guess I'm easily entertained, but I do like surprises that come in small packages.
