Happy 2015

Growing up in the south you had to eat some black eye peas on New Years Day for good luck and prosperity.  This year I got a head start and made this soup on New Years Eve, which lucky for me was easy to make and loved by all.  Might have to sneak it in to my regular rotation.

  1. Hi Pam -- I'll have to give this recipe a try. When I was very young my great grandmother, who was from Arkansas, used to make me black eyed peas. Haven't eaten them in decades.
