Last year I bought a Peony plant and I'm happy to report it's dormancy is over and the buds are ready to bloom. Peonies are gorgeous flowers, but sadly I just learned from the book The Language of Flowers, that Peonies represent anger. Oh well, if you have room to add another book to your reading list by all means add this one by Vanessa Diffenbaugh.
