I've had this book in my stack to read for a while and I finally got around to reading The Anatomist by Bill Hayes. I loved this book about the history/story of Gray's Anatomy. Of course I loved anatomy class in high school and took it again in college along with the privilege of dissecting a fetal pig twice. I even snuck home a few parts of the pig to share with my brother in his bed. This book is definitely about anatomy, but shares so much more. About how one person can be so famous and a mystery at the same time and how another can have so much detail of his life recorded, yet known by few.
