Finding Bend

Bend, Oregon probably would have never been on my radar until a good friend of mine moved there recently. What a nice surprise to find a great little vacation spot, even though it takes a little effort to get there, you will be glad you did.
Portland airport has great shopping and food on the way to Bend.  And when is the last time you got to fly on a prop plane?  Hiking, Water sports, Eating and Drinking are all on the agenda.  Beautiful landscape... how can you go wrong.
